Zombie fun run and Halloween harvest festival

The Omak Chamber of Commerce will be holding the zombie fun run and Halloween harvest festival on Saturday, October 29. The festivities will kick off at noon at the Omak  Mirage theater with a free showing of the movie Casper. Entry to the movie is buy one can of food or a monetary donation to the Omak food bank. 
 registration for the zombie fun run will begin at 2:30 PM and the run will begin at three. There will be free youth and adult zombie fun run T-shirts for the first 125 participants. There will also be goodie bags a fitness station  and obstacles. There will be a prize for the first adult and child to finish. Entry will be with one can of food or a monetary donation to the Omak food bank. 
 The Halloween harvest festival will begin at 3:15 with kids crafts, pumpkin patch, s’mores and a kids carnival. There will be an adult, kid and dog costume contest at 4 PM. There will be a pre-decorated carved pumpkin contest at 4:15 PM. There will be a pumpkin pie eating contest at 4:30 PM. There will be games and prize booths by FYRE and the Omak library. There will be free popcorn provided by the Omak Mirage theater.
